Q: How do I apply PointePaint?
A: Great question! It couldn't be easier. With the cap on, shake vigorously. Remove the cap, and press the sponge on a paper towel three times to get the paint flow started. Apply sponge over pointe shoes evenly.
Q: How fast will my shoes dry after I dye them?
A: It takes between 30 to 60 minutes to dry each pair of shoe.
Q: Will the dye leave any marks on the floor?
A: After the shoe is fully dried, the the dye will not leave any marks on the floor.
Q: Will the dye change the structure of my shoe including shrinking them?
A: As the dye is water-based, it will not change the structure of your shoe. It will not shrink them or change the flexibility of the shoe.
Q: Is the dye water-proof?
A: While the dye is not water-proof, it does sustain normal dance-related sweating.
Q: How many pairs of shoes will one bottle dye?
A: It depends on your shoe size, but you can assume that each bottle will dye 1-2 pairs of shoes.
Q: Why are your color offerings limited?
A: We are actively working on expanding our palette. Stay tuned! Feel free to send a picture of your preferred color to pointepeople@gmail.com.
Q: How fast are orders processed?
A: We process orders within 1-3 business days. All orders are then shipped via USPS.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: We do our best to process orders as soon as possible! We promise to process all orders within 1-3 business days and ship via USPS First-Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. We also offer Express shipping for the fastest option.
Domestic Shipping: USPS First-Class Mail takes 3-5 business days; USPS Priority Mail takes 2-4 business days.
International Shipping: shipping time for USPS First-Class International service depends on destination; USPS Priority Mail International takes up to 6-10 business days for all major international markets.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: All sales of Pointe Paint are final, but if you have a concern with your purchase please reach out and we'll do whatever we can to make sure you're completely satisfied.
Please note that all tights are final sale and are not eligibile for return or exchange.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: We sure do! You may have to pay any additional duties or taxes at the time of receipt of the order.
Q: Where can I find my tracking number?
A: Packages can be tracked using the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email. You can also find a link to the tracking information on the Orders page.
Q: What if my items are damaged, defective, or incorrect?
A: Firstly, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please send an email to
pointepeople@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the product. We will assess the case and reply as soon as possible!
