I felt that it would be an amazing opportunity [to learn] from people I look up to and to meet so many other kind and amazing dancers!

I wanted to work with Ever because she is so inspiring! Aside from her flawless technique and incredible turns, she is such a kind and encouraging person.

What is your favorite part of the program, so far?
My favorite parts of the program, so far, would be the fun coffee chats and all of the PointePeople Masterclasses with amazing teachers and stunning dancers!

Is there anything unexpected you’ve learned or experienced through the program?
Yes! Some of the corrections that Ever gave me on my first private really stuck with me, and it has helped me grow as a dancer.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received from your mentor?
Ever told me that every dancer goes through self-doubt. To overcome it, you need to realize that people will see your talent, not your faults.

What would you tell anyone who is considering applying to be a mentee in the future?
I would say definitely go for it! I was debating whether or not to apply because I had seen so many great dancers applying, so I thought I didn’t have a chance. But, I’m so glad I ended up applying! Even though I've only had a few classes so far, I am absolutely loving this program!

How is this program helping you to grow as an artist and dancer?
This program has already helped me so much. Not only have I gained technique, but I have also gained knowledge about what it’s like in the dance world once you get older. All of this amazing information has really helped me grow, and I am so thankful!
