The Ballet Cook Book states, "Mr. Tudor is such an immaculate cook that he does not even require an apron in the kitchen. He has been known to prepare a four-course meal in a three-piece suit." His motto: "Clean as you go!"
Antony Tudor's King's Roe Recipe
butter
2 1-inch slices French bread
2 T butter
3 eggs, lightly beaten
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 lb. fish roe
Lightly butter bread; fry in a skillet until golden on both sides. Place one slice bread on each plate and keep warm. Melt 2 T butter in same skillet, add eggs and scramble. When partially set sprinkle with salt and pepper and add fish roe. Continue stirring until eggs are set. Top bread slices with egg and roe mixture. Serves 2.
